I Prayed…

I pray.. I prayed! To the extent of talking to the moon just to know your name.
You passed by and I saw you. You took a glance and I knew from there that I’d be smiling forever.
I pray.. I prayed! To see you again someday! The moments were all but short lived.
You passed by and I saw you. But that is all a memory now, but still I know i’ll be smiling forever.
I pray.. I prayed! That may fate be kind to be one day.

2 years passed by and there you were unexpectedly.
I saw you again and it felt like the world to me.
We said our hellos and after a few, I didn’t wanna say goodbye to you.
2 years gone by and there you were standing right before me.
I saw you again and it seem like time has stopped if you could only see.
We talked and laughed, shared our stories and from there on I knew.

I pray.. I prayed! That someday, I’d be the one to hold your hand.
To be the reason for your smile and to be your addictive brand.

We shared our secrets and our thoughts. You held my hand and made some plans.

Things were then all but a rush, it all happen too fast. I fell, you didn’t…Not knowing that in a split second you’d be gone and I’d be left hanging.

I prayed… but you still left without a trace…
